Amman, February 2017 - Central Electricity Generating Company (CEGCO) has completed a comprehensive maintenance campaign at several public schools in Rehab, Mafraq Governorate, and in Al Hashimiyyah, Zarqa Governorate. This step underscores CEGCO’s commitment to supporting the local community and comes as a continuation of the Company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities for 2016.

The maintenance works included building fences, paint jobs, door maintenance, installing sunshades, filtering drinking water, renovating theaters, and more. These operations took place at Ameena Al Ghafareya Primary School for Girls, Al Hashimiyyah Comprehensive Secondary School, Dahl Co-Educational School and Al Mansoor Primary School for Boys.
